We use a variety of tools to accelerate social progress, including philanthropic grantmaking, venture capital investments, and advocacy funding. We take a multi-phased approach that helps us develop and refine our strategies, learning alongside our partners to understand what works and what doesn't.
Given the structure of our grantmaking strategies, we only accept proposals to receive funding by invitation. Occasionally, we make public calls for proposals—such as the Action for Women's Health challenge. We kindly ask that you do not send any unsolicited ideas, proposals, or creative works. We are unable to review or consider these submissions.
