Paid Family
and Medical Leave

Paid family and medical leave should be guaranteed for everyone in the United States. We need a national paid leave policy.

Without paid leave, workers have to make the impossible choice between their jobs and the care they or a loved one needs. That’s why we support partners advocating for a federal paid leave policy.

Solutions We Support

We’re helping allies come together to build consensus around paid leave, design sound policy, engage voters, and ultimately pass a strong national plan.

Fostering Bipartisan Progress

Paid leave isn’t a partisan issue for voters: 79% support a federal program. So, it shouldn’t be a partisan issue for members of Congress either. Our partners work to bridge divides and bring together stakeholders to advance a long-overdue national paid leave policy.

Making Paid Leave Imperative

At some point, nearly everyone will need to take time away from a job to provide or receive care, which makes paid leave a universal need and an urgent priority. Our partners bring attention to the issue and drive public support for paid leave so that government officials understand they must act.
